Welcome to The Petoskey Peddler, your number one source for all things made with Petoskey Stones. We are husband and wife stone artisans with over 60 years’ experience. We create Petoskey Stone jewelry (pendants, necklaces, bracelets and earrings), wine bottle stoppers and glasses, drawer pulls and doorknobs, coasters, night lights and much more. We also offer polished Petoskey stones and will polish one that you have found, if its condition warrants it. We're dedicated to giving you the very best products, with a focus on uniqueness, dependability, and customer service.
My husband became a rock hound and started collecting Petoskey Stones over 60 years ago and in 1965 the Petoskey stone became Michigan’s state stone. After my husband retired, he decided to make jewelry out of the stones he had found. After he perfected his craft, all of the family members wanted a piece of his jewelry. Then word got out in our community and it became contagious. A few years later, he decided to try a booth at the local farm market and then at the local craft shows. A few years ago, he asked me if I wanted to learn how to create something out of a Petoskey stone. Needless to say, I said yes and I was hooked. He asked me to join with him and since we have expanded our business and now serve customers and ship orders all over the US. We are thrilled to be a part of the online store industry!
